With diligence, you can make use of the practices shared to better yourself, your loved ones, and the world.
Many shifts of paradigm have been thrown your way over the course of these past four chapters.
I have to admit: I had ZERO IDEA that this story would become so detailed and fleshed out.
The Saga was originally designed to teach everyone the ins and outs of subtle energy manipulation. By supplementing this training with Aetheric technology, it was designed to impart these skills upon you quickly and effectively.
In essence, it was to be a glorified training manual. The storytelling aspect was only added in to help us better learn, memorize and understand the content, as was explained in the Saga Prelude.
As you can see, it has gone quite a ways past that.
There’s a LOT of material to cover, so let’s dive right into it.
Remember, this is a tool that focuses on revealing and developing your more subtle skill sets.
These include your intuition, your emotional fortitude, and your psychic/spiritual gifts.
To transform your perceived weaknesses into strengths. These include the parts of yourself that you feel have held you back, or embarrassed you. Made you uncomfortable.
To rewrite yourself into your most highly desired state. Not through affirmations, nor self hypnosis — but through subtle energy itself. The subtle matter that constitutes and permeates your entire physicality and personality.
If you wish to accomplish this with astonishing speed and effectiveness, you will want to pay special attention to the various “Aethretics” skills that are presented throughout the story. There are only a few mentioned within the first Arc, but they are ESSENTIAL to unlocking greater and more potent abilities.
Without further ado, here’s all the important skills and bits of data worth taking with you from Arc I.

You may have noticed the numerous sections of text that have a color to them.
Green, orange, purple, dark red and the occasional light blue.
This feature was added to have you focus on important sections of text. It’s easy to read a story like this for pleasure, but you’ll be hard pressed to recall every detail of every passage once you’re finished.
By highlighting text with certain colors, the hope was to have you eventually sorting sections of text automatically.
Green concerns items that are newly acquired.
Orange concerns a character’s ruminations, or their observations and theories on energy and the world around them.
Purple is lore, or established fact concerning energetic phenomena.
Dark red covers physical techniques and methods for relaxation and focus.
And light blue signifies the all-important Aethretics techniques, which are special maneuvers made possible with Aether technology.
This color coding will not be seen in future Arcs. It’s simply a tool I whipped up to have you sorting and compiling useful information.
Since the color coded sections are fairly self-explanatory, I’ll leave them be.
Instead we’ll focus on the three most important aspects of the first Arc:
Sensation. Conduction. Charge.

AETHRETICS TECHNIQUE ZERO: Perception

Arc I was written from the ground up to show someone what it’s like to encounter Aether for the first time.
Not only that, it encompasses every phase that one goes through as they hold a piece in their hand.
These phases, humorously enough, are eerily similar to the five stages of grief.
These stages are as follows:
Denial. Anger. Bargaining. Depression. Acceptance.
Imagine, for a moment, that you were sat down and given an Aether device to hold.
Much like Maedoc, you would likely find yourself skeptical, to say the least.
Denial sets in.
These devices come in myriad colors and shapes, all of them quite extravagant.
Most of us were never raised to expect that a lineup of colorful looking oddities could be capable of outputting such a staggering amount of subtle energy — the likes of which can affect us physically, mentally and emotionally.
That’s the sort of idea we often see in cartoons. In fantasy movies and video games.
It’s only natural to deny that this technology is feasible. And as thus, it transpires.
Anger comes next.
Upon not feeling something within the first few moments, you may become agitated. Either you are being pranked, or there’s something “wrong” with your perception. For whatever reason, you can’t join the others in their enjoyment of this novel and otherworldly sensation.
There are many reasons for one to be just a little pissed.
Once your anger fizzles and you take a moment to relax and “tune in,” you might find yourself feeling something that you cannot explain. A very common experience is to perceive this sensation as your own pulse, but strengthened. Just as Maedoc did in Chapter Two.
It is true, the energetic output of Aether tends to have a particular “tempo” to it. And due to its affinity for water and blood, you will tend to feel this output as a strengthened pulse.
This is where bargaining comes in.
Since it’s much easier to explain away the novel effects of these devices as a common phenomenon, it’s where our brains like to go first.
Perhaps it’s my pulse. Maybe my arm is falling asleep. Maybe holding anything, while at the same time focusing intently on it, will create a feeling like this.
However, by continuing to hold the device, this illusion falls away. And every time you pick it back up, the tempo becomes more obvious and distinct.
With bargaining come and gone, depression just might be the next step.
Though to be honest, Aether isn’t all that depressing. The only depression you might possibly experience would be if you choose to use Aether as a tool for self-healing.
Sometimes, when using subtle energy technology to affect our own, deep-seated energetic “knots,” one may feel all manners of emotion as the knot is resolved. Sadness included.
But at the end of the day, there can be no doubt: subtle energy is real, and Aether revs it up to a whole new level. No matter your particular experience with it, you cannot help but accept the phenomenon.
And just wait until you take it to the next level.

AETHRETICS TECHNIQUE #1: Conduction

You know the best part about Conduction?
Once you can feel the sensation of Aether’s output, you end up Conducting quite naturally. It is simply the way our bodies work. They are engineered to have subtle energy flow through them.
We could take a look at the Indian system of chakras and prana, or the Chinese system of meridians and Qi — but we won’t.
These are fields with thousands of years of theory and history behind them — and to even skim the surface would require a sizable series of articles.
Though, if you’re curious, I have written up a page about energy-based worldviews which serves as a nice sampler plate to get started with.
In a nutshell, a system of energetic propagation and flow is built into us. And by interacting with a device which outputs a constant stream of subtle energy, you’ll witness this built-in system of yours jump to action.
Just as Maedoc experienced in Chapter Four, upon holding the Spearmint Ray he noticed that the pulse he felt in his hand could also be felt in other areas of his body. His shoulder. His bicep. And so on.
As was explained almost too thoroughly, the spots that you feel that pulse strongest are typically a sort of “blockage,” like a kink in a garden hose, where this energy builds up and exerts pressure.
A second possibility is that this location is in need of healing energy, and the energy drawn in from the Aether is attracted to this location. It’s also possible that this location has an overabundance of “negative energy,” or DOR as the orgone crowd calls it.
Or hey, maybe you’re just an energetically sensitive fellow. Same as me, and many others.
Safe to say, there are a number of reasons you might feel a pulse in spots other than the hand holding the Aether.
The main thing I’d like you to understand here is that this Conduction technique is quite automatic, and that it utilizes the same basic energetic architecture that every human is born with.
Even if we were NOT born with this architecture, the basic materials within our body — crystalline bone structure, iron-tinged fluid flowing in same direction — are highly receptive to subtle energy as-is.
As the grandfather of orgone technology — Wilhelm Reich — discovered, concentrated subtle energy tends to have an affinity for metals and water.
In the years after Reich’s death, crystals and crystalline substances were also found to have a strong pull on this energy.
So rest easy! You are ENGINEERED to conduct energy. It’s part of our design, I promise you.
So consider this technique a bit of a freebie.
If you have any difficulty perceiving this conduction of energy, think of your body as a garden hose. The more “open” and unrestricted it is, the stronger the flow will be, and the better the energy will conduct.

AETHRETICS TECHNIQUE #2: Charge

While it’s true that the Conduction technique can be considered a freebie, the Charge technique is anything but.
A significant increase in focus, breathing coordination and technique is needed to achieve Charge, which is the sustained accumulation of energy within a chosen body part.
This might not sound all that impressive until you see what Cynwrig is able to do with it. At the very end of Chapter Four, the man amasses enough energy in his hand to break bricks! All it took was a single slap of the palm.
And right before this took place, Cynwrig showed off the heat his hand produced upon Charging it. This is a little easier to manage than breaking bricks, and can be achieved by anyone with a couple days of practice. Maybe not extravagant heat, but enough heat for you to feel, certainly.
Nothing else is really shared on Charge, since this technique is shown at the very end of Arc I. But hey, don’t fret. Arc II will unravel the mystery of Charge a little further.
For now, let me tell you this. The idea behind Charge stems from the Chinese form of meditation called Qigong, which essentially translates to “energy work.” I describe this a little further on my Energetic Worldviews page.
Otherwise, if you would like to jump ahead and try out some advanced energy techniques independent of the Saga, do some research on Qigong. There are many excellent YouTube tutorials out there.
I personally practiced Qigong meditation alongside Shaolin Kung Fu back in high school and college. It is an incredible practice for one to partake in, even without the boost Aether provides.
If you have zero interest in pursuing Qigong theory, I will tell you the three secrets to the Charge technique: posture, breath, and intent.
That’s really all there is to it. Eerily simple.
Though without access to enough energy, you’ll have a hard time of it.

With that, we’ve reached the end of our first Analysis and Review.
As mentioned in the very beginning, I like to consider the first Arc an initiation. It consists of four chapters that focus on an awkward teen’s introduction to a marvelous and strange technology.
This character was created to be a vehicle for the reader. To colorfully display all the ins, outs, endless factoids and forever unraveling mysteries that follow an encounter with a powerfully positive subtle energy device.
And for all those wondering: what was the significance of the deadly furnace which took up a majority of Chapter Three? What’s the deal with Maedoc’s repressed memory making its appearance?
Both were written in for precise and powerful reasons. To find out their importance, you’ll just have to read on, my friend.

I cannot get enough of your writings. Eloquent use of the English language to explain the intricacies of subtle energy and the programmed devices you have created. I have yet to experience the positive energy from aether devices as my first order is en route as I write. I have read and reread most of what is available on your most delightfully informative and, at times, humorous web site.
