AETHERSOAP: the Soap Sphere

Following the popularity of the cold process soap, I present to you Aetheric melt&pour soap!

The melt&pour approach allows me to pour it into more intricate molds, allowing shapes such as spheres, hexagons, even owls.

Hold one in your hand and you’ll feel that familiar reassuring energy. While bathing with it I notice the pulse gets even stronger, as water seems to intensify its output. Super positive energy wash! Once you try it, you’ll never go back.

What’s more, this soap includes Epo Obo powder — that’s what the brown specks are. This is claimed by many cultures in Africa to be a powerful anti-witchcraft, anti-black magic, anti-demon plant, supplied to me by a Nigerian contact (and respectable herbalist) I’ve known for years named Eke John Sunday. I’ve used this quite a bit in my Aether creation, and it truly walks the walk when it comes to making potent pieces. It’s the real deal.

He’s been telling me for ages that Epo Obo shines best in soap, and I’ve finally decided to take his advice. It also provides a sturdy exfoliation!

To create these soaps I utilized soap making materials from Brambleberry, a local soapmaking company in Bellingham, WA. These include glycerin as a key ingredient, which naturally attracts moisture from the air. Washing with a glycerin soap leaves a light layer on your skin, meaning your skin stays moisturized even after you leave the shower.

An assortment of essential oils were used to provide the scents for these soaps, including cedarwood, a citrus blend, rosemary and lavender.
